Ambuyat

          Ambuyat is a dish derived from the interior trunk of the sago palm. It is a starchy bland substance, similar to tapioca starch. Ambuyat is the national dishof Brunei, and a local delicacy in the Malaysian states of Sarawak, Sabah, and the federal territory of Labuan, where it is sometimes known as linut. Ambuyat is eaten with a bamboo fork called a chandas, by rolling the starch around the prongs and then dipping it into a sauce, of which there are many varieties.



Barobbo



Barobbo is one of the traditional food of the people of Bugis in Sabah especially in the Sandakan and Tawau areas. Barobbo is a cornstarch dish. Usually barobbo is cooked with glutinous corn mixed with other ingredients such as chicken and vegetables. It is suitable for eating at anytime, especially breakfast and afternoon tea. But nowadays it is cooked with sweet corn. Barobbo is usually cooked when a family gets around like a week-long holiday and it's better to eat when it's hot.



Hinava

Hinava or Hinava Ginapan is one of the finest traditional dishes for the Kadazan-Dusun tribe in Sabah and it is said to be the most popular food among the Kadazan-Dusun people. This food is a dish made from fresh fish filled with bun shredded, red chili, ginger, onion, cotton lime and salt. There are various types of fish that can be used, but usually fill the mackerel, although the content of shark can also be used. In addition, squid or shrimp can also be used for Hinava preparation. Hivana is usually a special dish during Tadau Kaamatan. Besides that it also serves as a special dish for other important occasions such as wedding, engagement and others

Anyone who already visited Malaysia must already visited Kuala Lumpur. But why don't we discover another side of Malaysia.  Let us Introduced Sabah .


Sabah  is a state of Malaysia located on the northern portion of Borneo Island. Sabah has land borders with the Malaysian state of Sarawak to the southwest, and Indonesia's Kalimantan region to the south. The Federal Territory of Labuan is an island just off the Sabah coast. Sabah shares maritime borders with Vietnam in the west and the Philippines to the north and east. Kota Kinabalu is the capital city, the economic centre of the state and the seat of the Sabah state government. Other major towns in Sabah include Sandakan and Tawau. Sabah has an equatorial climate with tropical rainforests and abundant animal and plant species. The state has long mountain ranges on the west side which form part of the Crocker Range National Park. Kinabatangan River, second longest river in Malaysia runs through Sabah and Mount Kinabalu is the highest point of Sabah as well as of Malaysia.
 
Kinabalu Park is Malaysia’s first World Heritage Site. Also the Centre of Plant Diversity for South East Asia, the Park boasts more than 5,000 vascular plant species and the Park has no shortage of fauna as well, being home to some 90 lowland mammal species and many others
The main attraction at the Park is none other than the majestic Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest mountains in South East Asia standing at 4095.2 metres. Apart from traditional mountain climbing, visitors can also experience the Mountain Torq, the world’s highest and Asia’s first Via Ferrata or ‘iron road’ at 3,200m to 3,800m above sea level. To those who are more adventurous, there are other mountain activities such as Alpine Rock Climbing, Paragliding and also mountain expedition. 
The new trails may be more challenging than the previous trail, but climbers will be rewarded with breathtaking views along the way.

Like to go the beach and spend your time relaxing there?Manukan Island  is the second largest island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, Malaysia's first marine national park. It is located in the East Malaysian state of Sabah, just off the coast of Kota Kinabalu and is easily accessible by boat.
Manukan is the most popular island with Kota Kinabalu residents. Manukan has some good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline. The best beach is on the eastern tip of the island. Offshore of Manukan are coral reefs, which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming.

Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia, rising 600 metres (2,000 ft) from the seabed. It is located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, Malaysia. It was formed by living corals growing on top of an extinct volcanic cone that took thousands of years to develop. Sipadan is located at the heart of the Indo-Pacific basin, the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world. More than 400 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this ecosystem. Sipadan Island was at the top of Rodale's Scuba Diving Magazine Gold List for 'The Top Dive Destination in the World'. In fact it shared its top spot with 2 other destinations known for the diversity of their marine life
